As if we needed any more proof that the Meat Packing District is 5 years past well-done, late night eatery Flourent has announced that it will be closing it’s doors. They are auctioning off some of their unique possessions via eBay. For us though, as the Meat packing changes to a real life Sex In The City backdrop, we’re sad to see this institution go. There are many fond memories of rolling up there after a night at APT, blasted drunk, barely able to speak, at 5am, ordering mac’n'cheese or a goat cheese and apple omelet while watching the ‘fabulous’ late-night New York crowd. The whole area has changed, so perhaps it’s just time to move on to something new… Say, does anyone have the address to that spot on 100 Lafayette?!
