My 2008 WMC experience this year was one of last minuteness, sunburn and waaaay too much Armani Exchange and French dance music. Albeit, Surkin definitely gets the hat’s off in my book, not only does he kill an Ableton set, he looked like he was about 17. In fact, no one really came close to his performances, and I’ll have to give the nod to the Fool’s Gold camp for best party at the White Room. Lab party was cool, but the beer was warm, and apparently pissing in the shower IS NOT standard Miami practice (yes, the patrons were invited to use the shower as a public lavatory). Highlights included Atraks bday dinner (pictured), poolside and beachside at the Raliegh. Lowlights include the $10 water at Suite & Snatch and bad tattoos on everyone.
