Maya Arulpragasam, better known to the world as M.I.A., is parlaying her musical success into her own clothing line. As reported to WWD, the line will reflect the Sri Lankan’s penchant for bright colors and equally strong prints, produced in the form of leggings, bomber jackets, and a complete T-shirt line. Again, pretty much what you’d expect to see, considering the artist’s very distinct and internationally flavored style.

However: The eponymous-named line is not to be confused with the Marc by Marc Jacobs line, whose Spring 2008 ad campaign, shot by Juergen Teller, features the lovely Sri Lankan artist.
