First remix by Crystal Castles’ “wizard behind the curtain” Ethan Kath in quite some time. Par for the CC course, expect a proper dose of pounding bass line and liberal use of reverb for a very echoey treatment on the lyrics — fairly consistent style with his previous remixes (Anyone remember The Little Ones “Lovers Who Uncover” CC remix? Similar.). Overall a good (heavy) dance version of the original track by White Lies. Also, as reported by Cannibal Cheerleader, “the band’s next single will be a Crimewave 12” featuring Sinden and the L.A. Riots … taking two weeks off of their never-ending tour in September to record demos for the followup to their self-titled debut. This next album will include current live favorite ‘Yes NO’” (Below):
