Congratulations to Ms. Santi White also known as Santogold (RE:UP 15) for getting her cash-in-on. We heard her track “Creator” last night while watching Memphis run it up on UCLA in this year’s Final Four. “Creator” was the background song for a new Miller Light advertisement, thus proving that America’s finest beverage company intends to push our content onto mainstream culture. It’s nice seeing Santi finally getting her due, however, we can’t help to think that “Creator” isn’t the best choice of music for this advertisement… we were always under the assumption it would land on a sceney Belvidere Vodka ad or perhaps a cool HP thing with her hands talking about how she shops, sings and lives. To each his own…
