I hear you have your own record label and even your own band?

I HAVE AN AWESOME BAND-MEMBERS BEHIND ME. CHECK IT OUT ON blondefromfargo.com OR on iTunes: Blonde From Fargo or under my name: Peter Stormare. Wanted to start a Label to give unsigned bands the chance to at least get one CD produced by some professionals…

…I am collaborating with an awesome Producer: Michael Vail Blum. We can all record and call us producers at home…but in my opinion we need “professionals” to get us over that first big hurdle…amateurism.

Even if everything you need in a studio fits in your back pocket…if you can’t play, if you don’t have the right microphones…the right “guiding” you will ending up sounding crap and like everybody else – How many bands have 3000 copies of their own CD laying around in a garage or under a bed?

What kind of music/ bands are you interested in getting on the label? 

We’re just completing “Tribute to Billie Holiday”…a new/old interpretation of a unique artist and material.

At the same time my label have contracts with a Death Metal band: Project Hate. A great Hip-Hop trio from Chi-Town: L.E. Mental and a great young band with an early 80’s vibe: H.E.A.T. You can find the on iTunes.I have two more bands in the progress of completing their first CD. Phat Patsy and QuasiModo Five: Their song is on that V-dub stuff. What kind of axe (Guitar) do you own/ play with?

Oh, too many to name…but my best love is an Gibson-SG standard from 74…and I have to mention my Strat from 76. Great lovers and dear friends!

Do you play any other instruments or do any producing?

I play anything…BAD! But I get my inspiration from instruments such as Guitar, Bass & Piano.

I produce as well…but only as a side kick to Mr. Blum. He’s the genius…I’m the lesser talented one breaking in with a lot of ideas!

Any big future plans for your acting/ music career?

Heading over to Scandinavia: September-October with a combination of my band and a Swedish band and a very successful singer. Together we will tur for some weeks and rock the hell out of the descending dark fall over there!

Then in early winter we’re doing a smaller tour here in the US with my band.
